Loftia map and districts

Short answer

Loftia has three main districts: Loftia City, the Hanging Gardens and the Gridfall. You start in Loftia City, glide to the Hanging Gardens, then reach the Gridfall through the story. Community sites host interactive resource maps.

Applies to Early Access launch version (Nov 3, 2026) Sources checked

Loftia City

The starting district. Early salvage, your first crops and most core shops.

Areas: The Dome, Scrapyard, Solar Farm, The Hills, Construction Site, Global Village.

Good for: Metal Scraps, Screws and Plastic Discards in the Scrapyard. Tires and Scrap Wire at the Solar Farm. Portobello Mushrooms in The Hills.

The Hanging Gardens

Farms, lakes and the mysterious Overgrowth. Reached by Glider after Certified Flying Loftian.

Areas: Floating Village, Lake and Deep Lake, The Grove, Overgrowth, Secret Lake, Bamboo Forest, Community Farms.

Good for: Most fish, Rattan, Jute, Resin, Copper Scraps and Bioluminescent Ivy, plus three Research Stations.

The Gridfall

A salvage city of Air Rails, skyscrapers and underground tunnels.

Areas: Historical Quarter, Concrete Jungle, Patchwork Plaza, Museum, Underground (Urbex).

Good for: Vines, Electronic Scraps, Magnets, Carbon Fiber and Power Cable, plus the Museum Research Station.

How to reach the Concrete Jungle

The Concrete Jungle is part of the Gridfall, so play on through the Gridfall main quests. Its name also refers to Museum Bin Lv.3, a daily artifact contribution bin that opens after Mending What's Broken Game data.

Interactive maps

We do not rebuild what already works. For live resource markers, use loftia.th.gl or the Loftians map. Both are community projects.

Getting around

  • Glider: required for your first trip to the Hanging Gardens.
  • Bounce Shoes: work with Jump Pads. See the recipe.
  • Rail Boots: ride the Gridfall Air Rails.
  • Treasure Hunts: can appear in any of the three districts, and the notification names the place first Steam staff.
